Welcome to Tendring District

Tendring District Scouts supports over 560 young people aged 4 to 18 across 13 Scout Groups in the district. Based in a unique part of Essex, we’re perfectly situated to make the most of both beautiful rural countryside and our stunning coastline – giving young people access to a huge range of outdoor adventures and experiences.

With 45 section meetings taking place each week and a dedicated team of over 200 adult volunteers leading, supporting, and organising our programmes, we provide fun, challenge, and skills for life to hundreds of young people across the area.

Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.
