Tendring Cubs Put Their Knowledge to the Test at District Quiz

Cubs from across Tendring District came together on 7th March for an exciting and closely contested District Cub Quiz. The event saw teams testing their knowledge across a range of topics, with plenty of enthusiasm, teamwork, and friendly competition on display throughout the afternoon.

A huge congratulations to all the teams who took part and represented their groups so brilliantly. After a tight contest, the 1st/2nd Parkeston St Edmund Cub Pack “Rainbow Ponies” team claimed first place with an excellent performance. Frinton and Kirby secured second place, while 1st/2nd Parkeston St George Cub Pack finished in a very close third – missing out on second place by just half a point!

Events like the Cub Quiz are a fantastic opportunity for young people to build confidence, work as a team, and most importantly, have fun. A big thank you goes to Lorraine Smith for organising such a successful event, as well as to all the leaders and volunteers who supported the running of the afternoon.

We look forward to seeing even more teams take part next time!
